WHOA, thanks to Hypable, we got a peek at the character posters from Lionsgate for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1! These posters are getting revealed on different sites, which is a marketing method the studios had used for Catching Fire, but they all got leaked! Check out the full lineup below. Unfortunately, Katniss, Peeta, and Johanna are missing but maybe they'll show up later?
Note that all the characters are dressed in drab, gray outfits and all positioned in front of a tall wall. We're guessing this is supposed to contrast with the brightness and colorfulness of the Capitol, and the wall is supposed to symbolize the barrier between the rebels and their enemy that they need to break down? Also, note the bird/mockingjay symbol in the District 13 logo!
Since there is a character poster for Effie, I guess we can expect to see more of her in the movie since any mention of her in the last book was small/almost nonexistent aside from a few sentences. Either way, we're super excited to see promotions ramp up, and we can't wait for an official (and longer) trailer to drop!
Also, when are we going to hear Lorde's single for the movie? WE CAN'T WAIT!!
