The District 12 female was a tribute from District 12 who participated in the 73rd Hunger Games.[1]
Biography
The District 12 female was born in the Seam along with her district partner, and was reaped for the 73rd Hunger Games. She was mentored by Haymitch Abernathy. Effie Trinket mentioned to Katniss Everdeen that she and her district partner ate like "savages". This upset Katniss greatly, as they came from the poorest region of District 12, where access to food was limited.
