Tile was one of two male tributes from District 11 who participated in the 50th Hunger Games.[1]

50th Hunger Games[]
Before the start of the games, Tile joined the Newcomers alliance between District 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 tributes in an attempt to counter the Career pack.[2] Hull and his district partners are considered "a game changer by Haymitch.[3]
On the hovercraft to the arena, the District 12 tributes confessed that one of their tributes, Louella McCoy, had been replaced with a girl originally from District 11. Tile was shocked and asked why they didn't reveal this before.[4]
He died in the initial bloodbath.[5]
During the Victory Tour, Haymitch faced the distraught, grieving family of Tile.[6]

Etymology[]
Possibly referencing irrigation tiles used in farming.
