This layout guide is an official policy regulating how articles should be structured on The Hunger Games Wiki. Examples of how text should appear through the source editor are included below section headings. If a section is irrelevant to a particular article, it may be omitted.
Display title

Used to change the appearance of the article's title at the top of a page, such as when a title needs to be italicized.
Template messages
Templates such as For, Stub, spoiler templates, etc. may be used here.
Infobox

Use the corresponding infobox for the subject, e.g. Character, Book, Location. Start a new line for each field. If there are more than two entries for a field, separate them by a line break (<br>) or use bullet points by entering an asterisk * at the beginning of each entry. Leave unknown fields blank.
Opening quote
If we burn, you burn with us.
Quotes should give additional insight into the article's subject, and they can either describe the subject or be said by the subject themselves. Dialogue templates from Category:Quote and dialogue templates may also be used.
Article body
Sections other than the ones outlined below may be used to provide more information on the article subject when appropriate. All headings and subheadings should employ sentence case as opposed to title case (i.e. "Known tributes" instead of "Known Tributes").
Sections should be phrased as if the article were written at the end of the series and is reflecting on prior events, so past tense is used in sections such as "Biography" and "History", while present tense is used in sections such as "Personality and traits" and "Physical description" if the character is still alive in-universe.
An introduction gives an overview of the article subject. The first mention of the subject in the introduction should be bolded.
Character articles
- Biography describes notable events in the character's life.
- This section should be written in chronological order. Long biographies should be broken up by subheadings that either correspond to book titles or are named after major events. An "Early life" subheading may be used for pre-series events, and a "Legacy" subheading may be included if a character has a notable impact after their death.
- Personality and traits describes the character's personality, evidenced by specific actions.
- Physical description describes physical traits and typical clothing.
- Relationships describes relationships between the subject and another character whose interactions with them are significant.
- Relationships may be romantic, platonic, or familial. They could also be antagonistic. A new subheading should be made for each character.
Object and location articles
- History provides a record of notable times the subject appeared in the franchise.
- Description describes the physical appearance of the subject and how it operates, as well as any other general information.
All articles
- Gallery includes significant images of the subject. For subjects with a separate gallery page, that page should be linked instead.
- Etymology mentions the origin of the subject's name and connects the origin to the subject's role in the series.
- Trivia is a bullet-point list of interesting facts or behind-the-scenes details that do not belong elsewhere in the article.
Images:

Images should be placed where they are most relevant, especially underneath a heading or subheading, and should not interrupt the flow of the article. Images may alternate placement on the left and right side of an article to avoid overcrowding on one side. They should also include a description. See the image policy for guidelines on what images to use on pages.
Quotes: In addition to the opening quote, other quotes may be used throughout the article, ideally following a heading or subheading.
References:
Please use references (
) throughout the article to cite where you found the information. This helps fact-check details and shows that the article content is credible. It is recommended that you use citation templates when referencing a book or film.
External links
*Official website *Lenny Kravitz *name/nm0005107/ *LennyKravitz
A bullet-point list of relevant links to outside sources. For actors, this section may include links to IMDb and social media accounts.
References
If citations were used within the article, use the Reflist template to list them.
SeriesTP PrequelSeries
Navigation templates should be used whenever the article subject is linked in the navbox itself. See Category:Navigation templates for a list of navboxes.
Translations
de:Marcus es:Marcus fr:Marcus ru:Марк
Interlanguage links to Hunger Games wikis in other languages. Links should be organized in alphabetical order by language code.
Categories

Every article on the wiki must be categorized in at least one relevant category. Characters and real people should be categorized by their last name using .
