Tax was the male trainer at the archery station in the Training Center.[1]
Biography[]
When Tax saw that the standing targets were way too easy for Katniss Everdeen, he threw fake birds into the air which Katniss shot. Katniss took down each bird without fail, so he decided to throw more birds for increased difficulty. When Katniss hit five in one throw, everyone in the Training Center stared at her and the room fell silent. Their faces showed a mixture of envy, hatred and admiration.[1]
Tax's fate is unknown in the Second Rebellion, as he was not mentioned again.
