Talk:Throwing Knives[]
Honestly I didn't think that too many people used throwing knives.--98.169.153.20 00:18, May 14, 2012 (UTC)--98.169.153.20 00:18, May 14, 2012 (UTC)Person
Separate pages...?[]
for some weapons, such as knives and trident, who play a big role in the trilogy, I thought those articles could have separate pages DesiréeSnyh 15:23, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
Actually there is a separate page for bow and arrows because they are a major role in the series but because the others aren't very well known in The Hunger Games series, there isn't much information on them. This is probably because the whole books are told through Katniss' eyes and her main weapon is a now and arrow. Rainbow Shifter 00:39, June 24, 2012 (UTC)

On Weapons[]
Hi there -- I'm a journalist with vocativ.com, and I'm looking to do a piece on the weapons used in the Hunger Games. I would love to hear from the editor of this page, if possible!

Shouldn't 'Awl' be a weapon because it was in the Cornucopia during the 75th Hunger Games, and the 75th only had weapons in the Cornucopia?Dictionary1 (talk) 22:22, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
Military?[]
Something about this page has been bugging me for a while; it says that outside of the Hunger Games competition, weapons can only be carried by Peacekeepers and the Panem military, but does Panem technically have a military? As far as I can recall, the novels never make any direct mention of a standing army. The Peacekeepers often function in a military capacity, but I don't think they've been directly referred to as such.
The ambiguty is slightly less in the Mockingjay films, where a number of new characters seem to have knowledge/command of military activities, but there's still no mention of a standing army. I could just be misremembering, but the wording in this article should be straightened out. Gotlvr87 (talk) 14:33, December 6, 2016 (UTC)
"Daggers" vs. "Knives"[]
I'm thinking of getting rid of the "Daggers" entry on this page; as far as I can tell, the word never explicitly appears anywhere in the books or films, and for all intents and purposes, daggers are virutally indistinguishable from "knives". I know there are design/structural differences between the two, but I really don't see the point in having a separate entry if all the information can be placed under an existing one. I've come to a decision and I'm removing the "Daggers" entry from this pages. If anyone ojects, please post your thoughts here. Gotlvr87 (talk) 22:04, March 2, 2017 (UTC)
I know what Steal Means[]
Is it really necessary to put a link to "steal?" I'm pretty sure most people know what it is if they've read the Hunger Games or any other book.
