Should we add mockingjays to this list? Or are they not considered mutations?18.104.22.168 14:45, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
- I agree that they can be considered muttations, even though they were created accidentally. I added them to the article. -TagAlongPam (talk) 15:43, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
Are the werewolves cloned or the actuals bodies of the tributes? Dragonblaze-052 19:31, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
The werewolves are just wolfs DNA combined with the a dead tributes DNA. The capitol did this with all 21 dead tributes.
Has the author ever commented on why she added an extra t to "mutation"? --22.214.171.124 03:58, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
- It's a combination of "mutation" and the word "mutt". -TagAlongPam (talk) 16:20, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

Please could you guys stop putting racist and inappropriate things on this page.
I had to edit something to do with Katniss being raped by trackerjackers and all sorts of sexual references and the section entitled 'Monkey Mutts' were changed so it read 'Black People'.
Mabari =/= Wolf Creatures
While the resemblence between the picture and the Wolf Creatures from the movie are very similar, that's not the wolf creatures from the movie. That's a Mabari dog from Bioware's line of games, Dragon Age.
The wolf creatures in the movie didn't have a definition in neck, and they barely had any ears. Their anatomy features were actually very similar to that of Saber Toothed Tigers.
Merely stating, to avoid any confusion.
mutated dogs are awesome!
mutated dogs are the best mutts in the hunger games!
I want 1 as a pet!!!
