75th Games[]
What did Katniss and Peeta wear in the 75th Hunger Games' chariot rides? ♥Everdeen (Talk) 01:02, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
they wore black things that glowed like embers Tigerlili79 21:39, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
Other tributes[]
Weren't the other tributes supposed to be dressed differently? I thought the fact that Katniss and Peeta were dressed similarly was unique. Tigerlili79 21:39, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
No. In the books Katniss mentioned that most tributes wore similar clothing. I know that she mentioned that Glimmer and Marvel were spray painted silver with silver clothing. Then in the 75th Hunger Games, Katniss mentioned how the District 10 tributes were both dressed as cows with flaming belts. Then Johanna later says about her and Blight's tree costumes. I think the stylists make them similar on purpose. I mean, you wouldn't want a green outfit and a purple one. It would look weird and really stupid. Ravenclaw Eagles14!!!!! 23:29, June 6, 2012 (UTC)
Best outfit? In my opinion, District 3 had the best. I also think that because my favorite district is 3.
District 6[]
anyone want to explain District 6's costume. Not seeing transportation here.
Picture?[]
Really? I though one of the actual 'Chariot rides' would help out the page thats called 'Chariot Rides'? No?.

I did. The picture I posted was of the rides, the one you are talking about is the costumes, not the rides. My Name Is Rose Tyler, And This Is The Story Of How I Died. 17:08, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
- Erm no. I am saying that the picture doesn't offer anything to the article. All it shows is what the other picture already shows but in a clearer light. The picture you posted shows the District 1 tributes in the foreground on their chariot and the District 2 and 3 tributes blurred in the background. Rainbow Shifter 17:19, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

Polyvore.com[]
I think this page would look more professional if we can find sources to cite regarding the chariot costumes. I realize in many cases that's easier said than done, since the novels often give fairly minimal information, things in the films can be hard to spot, and tie-materials can only get you so far.
During my browsing for "authoritative" sources on this subject, I found a page on the fashion site polyvore.com that has a lot of potential (see the link below). I plan on writing my descriptions based on the images from that page, along with information from The Hunger Games Tribute Guide. Sources will be cited where appropriate. What do you all think?
