Sad[]
Im sad she died now 3 children are left without a mother
District has such a big part, but not the tributes![]
I think she was probably killed very close to the end, (mostly because of the wiki page death part, and to what Effie said) because of her fighting skills. My mom's name is Cecilia (Not Cecelia), and because of that, I now have an interest in this tribute. I can't believe that they talk so much about the uprising in District 8, but they don't mention the district 8 tributes at all! What do you guys think?
I'd never given much thought to Cecelia, at all. In fact I didn't even remember who she was until I googled her.
Cecelia was my favourite character. In my opinion, she decides to protect Katniss because she hopes that it will change the future of Panem. Thus the future of her three children will be better. Certainly that the elder one was going to be subjected to the Reaping. That's the reason why she stay to the Cornucopia trying to stop tributes who could kill Katniss. Incorrect Dates[]
In the article it says Cecelia likely took part in the 48th to 58th games, but these dates don't make sense. If she were twelve during her games, and is thirty-two when reaped again, she would have been in the 55th games, so I think that's definitely the earliest it could be. If she were eighteen at the time of her games and is twenty-eight at the quarter quell, she could have been in the 65th games (if we didn't already know Finnick won then). I think a range of 57-64 would make much more sense than the 48-58 given in this article.
Bonnie Hunt[]
I think bonnie hunt should play Cecelia, Bonnie hunt is a amazing actress who can do this part quiet well she is old enough and is how bonnie is discribed i hope Lionsgate takes this into consideration when picking Cecelia Legobatman3609 (talk) 01:06, August 24, 2012 (UTC)
Effie never says a thing about Cecelia's fighting skills[]
Where in the world is this stuff about her fighting skills coming from? Effie never said a thing about Cecelia's fighting skills, and no one else did, either. Effie expresses dismay at Cecelia's being reaped, but never says a word about her skills in the arena. Given that Effie's sad reaction happens at the same time Cecelia is saying goodbye to her kids, it would be safe to say that Effie is just upset that a sweet woman with three little kids has been reaped. I even just reviewed Catching Fire, and found not a word about Cecelia's skills. So... yeah. That makes no sense at all.
I think whoever posted this misinformation confounded Cecelia with Chaff.
Effie first comments about Cecelia (something like "oh no"), then later says Chaff never stays out of a good fight.Shogun Oda Nobunaga (talk) 23:21, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

Cecelia's Death[]
It says that Cecelia died in the bloodbath during a brutal fight with Enobaria in the film. When does it ever show that? I looked over the Cornucopia scene, and it never shows that. Where does that information come from?
Death[]
How do we know that she was killed by Enobaria and how she was killed? I mean, did I miss something, or is there like an extended clip of the games, or am I just not remembering key events of the movie?
I have this question too! The other characters also have very descriptive deaths. Does someone have special BTS videos or something?
It doen't matter weather the scene was in the movie or not. It's not in the book so who ever wrote she was killled by Enobaria is wrong.
Reply: The actors and actresses of the tributes that died in the bloodbath told it on twitter. The bloodbath scene was deleted, although some pictures were released. The stuntmen also confirmed that Enobaria killed Cecelia and the D10 Female, while Brutus killed the D9 Female (3 final cannons). (DeathScream (talk) 02:10, May 4, 2014 (UTC))DeathScream
Cecelia and Woof's last names?[]
If you look very closely, you can possibly see Cecelia and Woof's last names, which are Sanchez and Casino. This matches what they did with Mags. If you look closely on the District 9 podium, the bottom two look like they say Marian Green and Daniel Bernhardt, which are their actors' names. This makes me wonder...
Another leaked image from the Mockingjay set, similar to the one found for Mags. I found this one while looking at Marian Green(the District 9 female)'s twitter.

If anybody wants to know, her picture ( and the pictures of all the other tributes in the 75th hunger games ) is found in this link of a video: Victors`s pictures
It is not in the book so they just did that to stage the movie. Therefore who cares if it is in the move. I am not saying I have anyhing against the movie I LOVE the movie, but I personly think that if it is not in the book then it is not 'true'.
Cecelia's training score and throwing knives?[]
Where in the film and the accompanying literature does it say Cecelia's weapon was a throwing knife, and she received a nine in private training. The film does not release training scores, and throwing knives do not make sense because she allegedly fought Enobaria and died trying to obtain a sword. Also, there is an interview an YouTube where Elena Sanchez says she received sword training for the film and that was Cecelia's weapon.
Cecelia's death[]
How can we know she was killed by Enobaria? Is there a source that confirmed this?
Every tribute in this wiki has a description of his death, but we cannot know the deaths of the tributes who died in the bloodbath. GianG (talk) 15:57, June 7, 2014 (UTC)
I ask me everytime : What happened to Cecelia's family? Did they die in the Rebellion or did they survive? It would be really sad if they died :(
And the Pic before the Bloodbath began she looks like if she was thinking if she should go to the Cornucopia or not but chose to fight for her children because of the fear that they will be chosen when they are old enough like Gloss and Cashmere.
