Sam Ly is a Chinese-American actor specifically cast to portray the training and fight scenes of a tribute that fell during the initial bloodbath. He portrayed the male tribute from District 7 in The Hunger Games film.[1] Like most of the tribute actors, he is also a stunt performer. He also doubled the male from District 9 in the Cornucopia bloodbath due to the original actor not being a stunt actor. Ly's success as a stunt actor began to take off after doubling for Jaden Smith in After Earth. He has since been a stunt double for Adam Goldberg on The Goldbergs and did stunts on hits such as Captain Marvel and Mulan. He currently lives in California.
