Notion was one of two female tributes from District 8 who participated in the 50th Hunger Games.^[1]

Biography[]

50th Hunger Games[]

Before the start of the Games, Notion joined the Newcomers alliance between District 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 tributes in an attempt to counter the Career pack. She and her district partners were considered "nothing special" by Haymitch Abernathy.^[2] Her token was a little doll in a beautiful sewn outfit, the same as the other girl from her district.^[3]

She died in the initial bloodbath.^[4]

Physical description[]

The tributes from District 8 wore peach-colored outfits during the chariot rides and training.^[5]

Etymology[]

A "notion" is a term for sewing accessories (buttons, zippers, threads).

Trivia[]

Notion, along with Alpheus, Janus, Nona, Lect, Coil, Bircher, Heartwood, Ryan, Clayton, Midge, and the rest of her district and District 5, is only named on the tribute board.
