Maria Howell is an American actress, singer, and comedian who portrayed Seeder in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Career[]
Howell started her career as a jazz singer. She made her film debut by performing in The Color Purple. She has appeared in movies such as The Blind Side, What to Expect When You're Expecting, and Daddy's Little Girls, as well as TV series Meet the Browns, Revolution, and The Vampire Diaries.
In 2012, it was announced that Howell would portray Seeder in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. In the same year, she was also cast for the TV series Revolution. In 2013, she was given a recurring role in the TV series Devious Maids.
