Kieran Culkin is an American actor set to play Caesar Flickerman in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.
Career[]
Culkin made his feature film debut alongside his brother Macaulay in Home Alone (1990). His breakthrough role was in Igby Goes Down (2002), for which he received his first Golden Globe nomination.
He went on to play Wallace Wells in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010), and Roman Roy in the HBO series Succession (2018-2023). The latter earned him two Critics' Choice Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, one Emmy Award, and one Golden Globe. He received further accolades for the Jesse Eisenberg picture A Real Pain (2024), which included a BAFTA Award, a second Golden Globe, and his first Academy Award.
When told that he would make an "amazing" Caesar Flickerman, Culkin responded: "I don't think so, lower those expectations, please. Please do. I have no idea what I'm gonna do with that."[2]
