Jethro Callow was a Booker Boy[1] and the father of Wyatt Callow, one of the male tributes from District 12 that was reaped for the 50th Hunger Games.

Biography[]

Wyatt believed that his father would be giving his odds of winning the Games as forty to one.[2] Following his son's death in the Games, Jethro Callow committed suicide by hanging himself out of shame when Wyatt's body was returned to District 12. Cayson McCoy spit on his grave after the funeral.[3]

As betting on tributes seems to have been phased out in District 12 by the 74th Hunger Games, it's likely that the death of Wyatt and subsequent suicide of Jethro ended the Booker Boys business and betting in District 12.
