Jefferson White is an American actor who narrated the Sunrise on the Reaping audiobook.[1]

He is known for playing Jimmy Hurdstrom in the Paramount series Yellowstone and Sean O’Neil in NBC's Chicago P.D. Sunrise on the Reaping was his first audiobook, released on March 18, 2025 alongside the print copy.

- White received his copy of Sunrise on the Reaping in a safe. He read it all in two days and described himself as "weeping like a baby" throughout. Due to the need for secrecy, he could not even explain to his wife what caused this.[1]
- He stated that he did not know how the selection of his being the narrator had come about and that he received a "miracle phone call," having been a fan of The Hunger Games for a decade. He did state that he thinks Suzanne Collins likes Yellowstone.[1]
- When asked to describe the book in one word, White said it was "brutal". He was surprised at how "emotional" the story was, but added that it was an "exciting adventure".[2]
- White characterized Haymitch Abernathy as a "rascal" and "a bit of a maverick".[2]
