Ima McCoy is the older sister of Louella McCoy.[1]
Biography[]
The McCoys lived three houses down from Haymitch Abernathy in the Seam, and her younger sister Louella was one of two female tributes reaped for the 50th Hunger Games.[2] When Plutarch Heavensbee made them stay to stage reaction shots after the reaping, they refused to give him what he wanted, staring at him with "stony" expressions.[3]
After the deaths of Willamae Abernathy and her son Sid Abernathy, Ima laundered the suit Haymitch had worn in the Capitol and polished his shoes for their funeral.[1]
Family[]
Ima is one of Louella's "half dozen" brothers and sisters. She is older than Louella, but her age relative to their brother, Cayson McCoy, is not known. It's also unknown if Ima is the same sister that Maysilee Donner said wore coal dust for powder.
