Hersilia was a trainer for the 50th Hunger Games who taught knife-throwing.
Biography[]
Hersilia taught a lesson in knife throwing to the tributes from District 12 (Haymitch Abernathy, Maysilee Donner, and Wyatt Callow) and District 7 (Bircher, Autumn, Heartwood, and Ringina). After instructing them, Hersilia chose the order that the tributes threw in. Haymitch and Maysilee proved to be particularly talented at it, with Haymitch sticking the target every time. Ringina also hit a bullseye.[1]
After Haymitch was attacked by Panache Barker, Hersilia confiscated the tributes' weapons. Ringina hesitated before putting her knife in Hersilia's basket. When Hersilia handed Haymitch a knife back to resume training, he briefly considered plunging it into a Peacekeeper's heart.[1]
