Fisser was one of two male tributes from District 5 who participated in the 50th Hunger Games.^[1]

Biography[]

50th Hunger Games[]

Before the games, Fisser and his district partners were recruited by the Careers to counter the Newcomers.^[2] He died along with a girl from his district on either the first day during the bloodbath^[3] or from the volcanic eruption on the fourth day.^[4]

Etymology[]

Derived from "fission," nuclear power reference.

Trivia[]

Sunrise on the Reaping says that a District 5 boy and girl died on the first day, and then the other two on the fourth day. As none of them are named, it is unknown which day Fisser died.
Fisser, along with Alpheus, Janus, Nona, Lect, Coil, Bircher, Heartwood, Ryan, Clayton, Midge, and the rest of his district and District 8, is only named on the tribute board.
