Fionnula Flanagan is an actress who portrayed the Grandma'am in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.[1]
Biography[]
Flanagan was born in Dublin and grew up speaking both English and Irish fluently. She has established herself as one of the most prominent interpreters of James Joyce, starting with her role in the film version of Ulysses in 1967. Ten years later, she produced and played all six female roles in the show James Joyce's Women.
Flanagan has also appeared in many other shows and films, and has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and two Tony Awards.[2]
