In the films, the Avenue of the Tributes is a major road in the Capitol. The Training Center sits at one end, while a large governmental building sits at the other.
History[]
On the second day leading up to the annual Hunger Games, tributes rode chariots down the Avenue in specially-made costumes inspired by their districts' industries. The procession ended when the chariots pulled up in front of a large government building, where President Coriolanus Snow gave a welcoming speech.[1][2]
In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, the execution of President Snow was held on the Avenue of the Tributes. This also made it the site of President Alma Coin's assassination by Katniss Everdeen.[3]

Trivia[]
- In the novels, the Training Center and the president's mansion were both located in the City Circle.[4] However, in the films, the Avenue and City Circle appear to be two different locations, placing the Training Center and the president's mansion in different parts of the city.
