Faustina Gripper was the Head Gamemaker for the 50th Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell.
Biography[]
Gripper oversaw the private training sessions, during which she asked Haymitch Abernathy to tell her about himself. She evidently had a negative impression of Haymitch, since she and the other Gamemakers gave him a training score of only one. She stated that she and the other Gamemakers had not observed him to have any outstanding skills and scoffed at his suggestion that he could win.[1]
Physical description[]
She was "a short, ample woman with close-cropped metallic silver and gold curls." During training, she wore a snowy robe with a purple fur collar.[1]
Trivia[]
- Faustina Gripper is the fourth known Head Gamemaker, behind Seneca Crane, Plutarch Heavensbee, and Volumnia Gaul. She is the second known female Head Gamemaker, after Gaul.
