The victor participated in an unknown edition of the Hunger Games. Since he is around 60 to 70 years of age, he would have won anywhere between the 20th to 30th edition of the Games (excluding the 25th, as the victor was pronounced dead). Mags may have been his mentor, as she was the only District 4 victor eligible.
After his victory he presumably mentored scores of tributes from his district to prepare for their games. It's possible he may have mentored another male victor to victory.
As Coriolanus Snow announced that all victors must be present at the reaping for the third quarter quell no matter their condition or age, he was present at the reaping of the 75th Hunger Games like all other living victors in his district. He was fortunately not reaped and presumably mentored Mags Flanagan and Finnick Odair.
- He is the oldest known male victor from District 4, although another male tribute from District 4 might have won a previous Games and died before the 75th Hunger Games reaping.
- Although uncredited, the victor was portrayed by Ron Stafford. Ron previously appeared as a Gamemaker in The Hunger Games film.
