Biography[]
Mrs. Snow fell in love with Crassus Snow, having convinced herself that he would give her freedom and love.[1] She gave birth to her son, Coriolanus, and often sang him loving songs at bedtime. About five years later, shortly before the Dark Days, Mrs. Snow became pregnant again, this time with a baby girl who later died.[2]
Death[]
During the first major air raid a few months into the war, she went into labor and was unable to get to a hospital. Mrs. Snow suffered what was likely a hemorrhage, and while the Snows' cook and the Grandma'am attempted to stop the flow of blood that soaked her sheets, they were unable to save her. The baby was lost as well.[2]

Compact[]
After her death, Coriolanus kept his mother's silver compact in a drawer in his nightstand, and he breathed in the rose scent of her powder to calm himself during difficult times.[2] This compact was later borrowed by Lucy Gray Baird to assist her in the 10th Hunger Games, providing a container in which she could store poison for other tributes.[3] It was eventually returned to Coriolanus.[4]
Physical description[]

She had a pretty, youthful appearance, which she often checked in her silver compact. Mrs. Snow also carried a handbag,[1] and because of the scented powder in her compact, she always smelled like roses. The Grandma'am said Coriolanus had his father's pale blue eyes, but Coriolanus secretly wished he had his mother's eyes instead,[6] so Mrs. Snow presumably did not have blue eyes.
Film adaptation[]
Mrs. Snow was briefly seen in a photograph on her son's desk in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. She had long brown hair and an orange scarf draped over her shoulders.[7]
Personality and traits[]
Mrs. Snow was considered to be "the very definition of a lady" by Strabo Plinth, as she was always gracious to him despite his background in District 2.[8] She was pretty, but could be vapid. According to Casca Highbottom, she had convinced herself that Crassus Snow would give her freedom and love, and seemed fated to be a child forever due to her youth.[1] Mrs. Snow was also described to have "not really been tough enough for this world",[6] and had a fondness for music.[8]
