Tribute Parade[]
In The Hunger Games film, the District 4 tributes were first seen in the Tribute Parade. They both wore light blue outfits with blue crowns that looked like splashing water, adorned with pearls and bubbles. The shoulders of their outfits were pinned together with starfish.[4]
Training[]
In the novel, the Career Tributes looked at Katniss Everdeen with contempt during training, and they showed off their skills in order to intimidate other tributes. The Careers all received training scores between 8 and 10, and he received a 8.[5]

In the film, he stood between Rue and Katniss as Atala explained the rules. He also stood behind Thresh and looked up at Rue on the rope course. Later, he appeared during a montage as Caesar Flickerman read out training scores, but his score was not stated or shown.[4]
Interviews[]
In the film, Bravura waited in line with the other tributes to go on stage for interviews. He wore a black suit with white shoes and a white tie.[4]
Cornucopia bloodbath[]
Bravura's portrait in the night sky.
- "Night has just come when I hear the anthem that precedes the death recap. ... The first to appear is the girl from District 3. ... Then the boy from 4. I didn’t expect that one, usually all the Careers make it through the first day."
- —Katniss expressing surprise at his death[src]
Bravura was killed in the initial Cornucopia bloodbath. It is unknown how he died in the book, but Katniss was surprised to see his face in the sky on the first day because he was a Career, and they typically lasted longer.[1]

In the movie, he ran to the Cornucopia for supplies when the gong sounded. After a few glimpses of him hiding behind crates, he tried to escape with the supplies he'd grabbed only to meet Cato, who attacked and killed him with a sword.[4]
In an early version of the film script, District 4 was still considered a Career district and the male tribute stepped off of his pedestal too early at the start of the Games. This set off land mines that killed him instantly.[6]
Physical description[]
In the films, he is tied with Rue as the smallest and youngest tribute. He has blue eyes and a blonde afro hairstyle.
Trivia[]
Tribute Identification Card
- In the film, his odds of winning were 15–1, he weighed 65 pounds, and was 12 years old.[2]
- In the film, he was the last tribute to die at the Cornucopia bloodbath. Heddle was the first death since the bloodbath, and when she died, the scoreboard behind Caesar indicated that this boy had placed 12th.[4]
- Unlike the rest of the tributes (except for the District 9 male), his casting is probably a deliberate choice to contrast with the other Career tributes.
Name[]
- His name was not revealed in the books or the movies, but was present in the earlier version of the script.
