Augustus Braun was the victor of the 67th Hunger Games from District 1. He was hailed as Panem's Favorite Son and was known as the "Cavalier Career".
Biography
Augustus was a career in the 67th Hunger Games and thus presumably volunteered to participate in his games. He was mentored by Gloss as the male tribute of District 1. His district partner was presumably mentored by Cashmere, as the siblings won just a few years before them.
On his victory tour, Capitol Couture describes him as having a bright and optimistic ensemble that contrasted his unkempt persona he cultivated during his games. Furthermore, he was widely popular in the Capitol as they reportedly sang his praises and labelled him as a figure of reconciliation of the people due to his patriotic manner.
After his victory of the 67th Hunger games he presumably went on to mentor future tributes of district 1 to prepare for their own Hunger games. He may have also mentored Glimmer or Marvel for the 74th Hunger Games.
He was presumably present at the reaping of the 75th Hunger games as all victors was required to attend. It's unknown if he mentors Gloss and Cashmere for the third quarter quell.
It is unknown how he died, but he was dead by the end of the Second Rebellion.
